At Avonbridge Care Home we hold weekly ‘Music Makers and Shakers’ sessions. This is where we invite local children and their families to join our residents for some music-based activities. The heartwarming interactions between the generations have many benefits including stimulating memory and thinking skills.
This week we added an extra layer of fun by giving the session a farmyard theme. Residents and children enjoyed wearing fancy dress hats and playing with soft toy animals.
