Cavell House Care Home is set in the seaside town of Shoreham-by-Sea, which has an eye-catching selection of beach huts. Following a recent project at the care home, residents can now enjoy their very own beach hut. Located in the grounds, the beach hut has been decorated with a seaside theme.
To celebrate the new addition, we held a beach party in the Cavell House garden. The sun shone while residents, families, and supporters were entertained by the Seaside Singers. In true British seaside style, we dined on fish and chips wrapped in paper, followed by homemade ice cream.
Thank you to everyone that attended the event and helped us raise £130 from the raffle and tombola.
