Belmont Care Home residents have taken a trip down memory lane with a visit to Fulwood Barracks in Preston. Home to the fascinating Lancashire Infantry Museum, Fulwood Barracks is the most complete example of mid-Victorian military architecture in the United Kingdom.
There are plenty of interactive exhibits at the museum, one of which gave Belmont resident Pat the perfect opportunity for some target practice! Our residents thoroughly enjoyed looking at the military artefacts and even had a photo taken with Her Majesty The Queen.
