We offer first class care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings.
Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the full. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.
Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for.
Residents have freedom to choose what to do and when. There is plenty going and our activities coordinator puts together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.
I’d love to show you around the home. So if you should like a tour, or wish to discuss any aspect of elderly care with me, please telephone the home to make an appointment.
Activities and entertainment are a key part of life in any care home. At Cams Ridge, we have a vibrant activities programme designed to promote mental and physical wellbeing. In this video, you'll discover how we keep our residents active and socially engaged.
Mum's care here from July to October 2019 was amazing. Every level and member of staff we ever dealt with were kind, loving and considerate. They really made those final months fun, enjoyable and interesting for mum, and bearable for myself and the family. I cannot recommend Cams Ridge highly enough to anyone who may be looking for a home from home and worried about the future (either for themselves or a loved one). The place was spotiessly clean, has an amazing menu of lovely food, and staff who have obviously been selected because they care. Having used other places for respite care I only wish we had known how good Cams Ridge was earlier. They take away all your worries and look after them on your behalf. I cannot thank them all enough for the sensitivity and humanity they use in elderly care.
Excellent Nursing Care Home - The Nursing Staff listen and are proactive day and night, care staff (senior and junior) are very approachable - there are 2 activities coordinators who are both very active in their role and encourage but also respect if a resident does not want to join in ...lots of activities put on throughout the year.
The housekeeping, administration, kitchen staff and chefs are also very friendly and hard working.
A great home that I can honestly trust to look after my mum.
From first entering the home you are welcomed by smiling and caring staff. The home immediately gives the impression of being warm and a place of safe, caring and friendly staff. The place is bright and clean and has a large, south facing garden ideal for getting my nearest and dearest out for fresh air. The rooms are large and light and airy. The staff go out of their way to help and assist. The nursing staff are first class, knowledgeable yet open for discussion. All in all my wife was in another home for 4 years, but knowing what I now know I should have moved her earlier
