THE THOUGHTS OF OUR FAMILIES

Kim B (Daughter of Resident)

I cannot thank the staff here enough for the care and support given to my mother-in-law she was here for the last 12 months and was looked after so well.
Whenever I visited the home, I felt part of the big family environment and was always greeted by friendly members of the team who always knew who I was and who I was visiting and always had the time to talk to me.
I would not hesitate to recommend the home to any family looking for the same facilities that we were looking for.

Heather W (Daughter of Resident)

Both my parents are in Highfield and have been for over a year now! So I feel fine about not visiting them at this extraordinary time we are going through! I know they are being very well cared for and the home have sent photos to put our minds at rest! Thank you all for the fantastic job you do!

L S (Daughter of Resident)

Obviously, no one wants their loved one in a home but we chose Highfield for our mum. We find the home very welcoming and the staff are so caring and we are happy to leave our mum in their care. They go out of their way to accommodate us and we couldn't wish for more. The surroundings are lovely and kept to a good standard.

Meet the Manager

Karen Williams

Karen Williams, Care Home Manager

We offer first class care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings.

Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the full. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.

Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for.

Residents have freedom to choose what to do and when. There is plenty going and our activities coordinator puts together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.

I’d love to show you around the home. So if you should like a tour, or wish to discuss any aspect of elderly care with me, please telephone the home to make an appointment.
