Thank you all so much for looking after my mum. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay and looks forward to visiting again. The home has a lovely atmosphere and it is nice and warm. Mum also had some really enjoyable meals. My mum was made to feel welcome as soon as she arrived. She was given a lovely room, nice and bright, and signage was in place to advise staff of my mum's specific mobility and transfer isuses. The manager and staff were very friendly, and treated my mum with kindness and respect throughout her stay. The home had been trimmed up for Valentines Day, which made it look really special, and Mum enjoyed the Valentines Day entertainment. Staff had really made an event. Overall, I felt extremely comfortable leaving my mum in the care of Hope House whilst I went on holiday. I was most impressed, as were some of my mum's friends who visited her. Kind regards and a big 'thank you'.
My father was a previous resident at Hope House and I have to say he was most welcomed. The manager showed me around the home when I first went to look and I must say she was very polite and reassuring that my father would be looked after. The staff that are employed, show a very caring and professional way toward the residents. They included my father in all activities that he could do and he really enjoyed the days out they organised. I would recommend Hope House for anyone who’s looking for a nice, clean residential home with caring staff. I would personally like to thank all the staff for looking after my dad while he was there. I will never forget you all.
Mum has settled well into Hope House. The staff have been very supportive and caring. She has gained weight and has a more positive outlook. She has been encouraged to join other residents in the lounge and benefits from the social interaction.
It is giving me peace of mind that Mum is being well looked after.
