June M (Daughter of Resident)

Excellent care, a complete transformation of my 95-year-old mum. She is so happy and contented and well-fed. She hated going in, the staff have been wonderful at a very difficult time and after only 2 weeks, Mum doesn't even ask after her home and just says she's so lucky.

G M (Son of Resident)

My dad has been at Stambridge Meadows for 4-months now. Although unsure at the start of his stay, Dad struggled as he likes to be independent. The staff were great and very understanding/patient. He is now certain he is in the right place. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable and who show so much love and quality care for the residents, but also have time for relatives, which is really nice. The staff are smiling and welcoming. We are happy that my dad is receiving good compassionate care.

Wendy K (Daughter of Resident)

I cannot thank the staff of Stambridge enough for the love and care they showed to my father, especially in the later stages of his life. The staff made Stambridge Meadows his home and became his family. Always friendly, caring and compassionate the staff focussed on his needs and provided him with the best care he could have. As a daughter living far away, I always felt confident that dad was safe in their care, welcoming me each time I visited, popping ahead round the door to say hello and keeping me up to date with his needs. Even after his passing they welcomed me with open arms and shared my pain, for that, I thank them dearly. Today I received some photos that were left behind in his room, they took the time to send them to me because they care. Thank you.

We offer first class care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings.

Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the full. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.

Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for.

Residents have freedom to choose what to do and when. There is plenty going and our activities coordinator puts together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.

I’d love to show you around the home. So if you should like a tour, or wish to discuss any aspect of elderly care with me, please telephone the home to make an appointment.
