On Tuesday night residents and staff at Eastwood Court Care Home gathered around the TV to watch their big appearance on the STV Evening News. The STV crew had spent the afternoon at Eastwood Court filming residents talking about their postcard appeal.
The appeal started in the Eastwood Extra newspaper, asking the public to send in postcards from their holidays around the world. The response so far has been fantastic, and they are hoping to receive over 100 postcards by the end of the summer. Residents have loved chatting about the destinations they have been to over the years, and have had some great holiday stories to tell!
