"A friendly welcome helped on the first visit with a friend. The carers helped as much during the first few weeks to help my friend settle into her new home and helped me to accept that this was the best place for him. All the members of staff have shown great care, concern and consideration, they are aware of individual needs, they recognise them as being individuals with their likes and dislikes and treat them as friends. The lounge is the centre of a variety of activities - residents can choose whether or not they wish to take part. It is usually a lively area with much laughter. Staff are always ready to discuss any problems and I would like to say how much this is appreciated."

"Initially choosing a care home seems like a daunting task because you feel such a deep sense of responsibility for the future happiness and well being of your friend or relative. However, the professional assistance of the Fleetwood Lodge management team eased that burden considerably. My friend had been an active gardener and lover of wildlife during their lifetime and as luck would have it Fleetwood Lodge is blessed with a beautiful garden full of colour and wildlife which is easily accessible to residents who wish to sit outside during warmer weather or even get involved with a little gardening themselves. Activities are organised daily and for special occasions such as May Day and other celebrations when friends and relatives are invited to attend. The catering as always is excellent for these events. Staff are always on hand to attend to the inevitable physical and emotional care needs of the residents and visitors are always welcomed."
