The Chanters Care Home in Wigan are currently seeking a Care Assistant for 33 hours per week to join our hard working and dedicated team

The Chanters Care Home, in Atherton, has been purpose-built to provide specialist elderly and dementia care which includes a dementia strategy, as well as looking after residents with learning disabilities. The Chanters also offers respite care for short term stays ensuring residents are looked after in a warm and caring environment.

One-to-one sessions have proven to be effective amongst residents with dementia, protecting life skills and empowering those with sensitive needs in a safe and secure environment

The ideal candidate will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care, you will be responsible to promote as much independence for our residents as possible and treat all residents with understanding and dignity. Kings Court Care Home is a thirty-eight bedded revamped accommodation, situated on the outskirts of the market town of Horsham.

The medium sized garden is laid to lawn with shrubs and flower borders, making it a perfect place for residents to relax around the two large table sets and wooden benches during the summer months.

Kings Court has an activity coordinator who organizes a variety of entertainment such as weekly visits from Kingdom Faith students for informal singing and a chat over tea and cake. The local Vicar and volunteers from St Mary’s Church attend Kings Court for a Church of England Service.
