In what has become a busy awards season for Mundy House Care Home in Basildon, the team have celebrated another nomination at the ‘Prospers Essex Care Sector Awards 2019.’ The award ceremony is held at Chelmsford Racecourse every November and recognises outstanding contributions to care in the county of Essex.
Representing Mundy House at the gala evening were Larchwood Care Regional Manager Paula Madams, Care Home Manager Josie George, Care Assistants Julie Hudson and Elena Slavova, and Kitchen Assistant Maxine Patterson. The team were presented with a ‘Commended Award’ in the ‘Prosper Home of the Year’ category.
This category recognises the methodology of the PROSPER Project. Using data analysis for improvement, implementing a programme of proactive interventions and continuously revisiting their aims and driver diagrams to focus the home’s efforts in the prevention of falls, pressure ulcers and UTI’s.
The Prospers are organised by Essex County Council, and this is the fourth consecutive year that Mundy House has received an award or commendation from its judges.
