“Mum needed respite care. She has never been in a care home and when I looked around it seemed homely and friendly. She likes the food comments on how much there is and likes the choice available. She says that tablecloths are changed regularly and the cutlery is always laid out according to your choice of food. She says staff are always on the go, work really hard and are lovely and friendly – “nothing is too much trouble”. Mum has a room that is comfortable and they have done everything possible to make her feel at home. The home is quite spacious in the communal areas compared to others that I looked at for her… The manager and staff are amazing and could not be faulted in their care. I have felt confident in having mum in their care. They have gone out of their way to help and sort things out – even taking mum for a small eye operation to hospital.”
