On Saturday 14th December, residents at Cavell House Care Home in Shoreham-by-Sea enjoyed a lively afternoon of Christmas entertainment.
A local ukulele band dropped into the home to perform Christmas party songs. The big highlight was a very Christmassy version of the ‘Macarena,’ which got the Cavell House team and residents dancing along.
Following a deliciously festive buffet created by Head Chef Lucy, a very special visitor arrived. Santa Claus himself chatted with residents about their Christmas memories and hand-delivered gifts to everyone.
The afternoon finished with a giant raffle, with some incredible prizes donated by staff, visitors, and supporters of the home. This helped us to top up the residents’ fund so that we can organise more exciting trips for next year.
