As always, St. Mary’s made the most of the New Year with a party. Singing and dancing were teamed with the usual laughter and fun which is never in short supply at St. Mary’s! All the residents got in on the fun, not just singing along but a spot of karaoke from John Kirk, who said “I like parties because it’s a good excuse to sing and dance which really livens up the place. I love singing and dancing because it is a sort of stress release and everyone joins in so it’s really friendly”. Of course, it’s not just John who loves to party, Jean Briggs said “the party was very good; it always is. The singer was very entertaining and I had so much fun. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time”.
New Year is often seen as a new start and to make changes for so many people, but at St. Mary’s there will be no change to the fun – well, maybe even more so – everyone will be having great fun!
