Residents at Cavell House Care Home in Shoreham-by-Sea have been getting into the festive spirit with plenty of Christmas entertainment. This time of year is the perfect opportunity to keep our residents connected with groups and organisations from the local community.
Recently the home welcomed a group of children from St Peters Catholic Primary School. A crowd gathered in the Cavell House lounge to watch the children perform a selection of Christmas carols. While clapping and singing along, residents reminisced about their own childhood memories of Christmastime.
We also had a visit from the children of Feet Beat Dance School who came to perform their Christmas show. Residents really enjoyed the production, particularly Vera, whose granddaughters are members of the dance group.
