One of our members of staff is celebrating 20 years’ service at Muirton House Care Home in Blairgowrie.
Gill Rennie started work at Muirton House, on Essendy Road, in early 2002 and currently works as an administrator for the home.
To mark her dedication spanning more than two decades our residents and Gill’s colleagues presented her with flowers and vouchers to show their thanks.
Catherine Russell, manager of Muirton House, said: “Gill is a valued and much-loved member of the team.
“Her colleagues, residents and visitors always know if they need anything doing even if that is just a sympathetic ear, Gill is always there to support them.”
Paying tribute to Gill, Catherine added: “Nothing is too much trouble, she will chip in with laundry, wash dishes and even do the shopping. Personally, I will always be grateful for her continued support over the past 20 years and here’s to the next 20.”
Gill said: “My time here has flown by, I have loved every minute spent here with staff and residents, I honestly can’t believe it’s been 20 years already”
“I do take pride in my job; it is an honour to be part of supporting older people in the care home.”
