Celebrating the Beauty of Nature with National Allotments Week!

As we enjoy the late summer sun, our care homes across the country feature lots of vibrant colors and beautiful scents from our wonderful gardens and allotments. Thank you to our teams for hosting such great activities and keeping our gardens in bloom!

Briar House

#NationalSunflowerDay was celebrated at Briar House by residents planting seeds to flourish into beautiful flowers. Keep an eye on their Facebook Page to see who’s will grow the tallest!

Cameron House

At Cameron House, resident Doreen has been tending to the homes beloved plants. She has created her own little haven within their gardens where she can immerse herself in the beauty of nature.

Avonbridge

Over at Avonbridge, our green-fingered residents have been busy harvesting the fruits of their labour, picking sprigs of rosemary, and infusing them into a batch of rosemary and cheese scones. The aroma alone is enough to entice you over to their care home!

Cranford

But it’s not just about the culinary delights. At Cranford, our residents have been putting their gardening expertise to the test at their Gardening Club. Their herbs, peppers, and tomatoes are thriving, ready to be harvested soon!

Muirton House

And let’s not forget Muirton House, where a very generous donation of a beautiful weeping cherry tree has been planted. It stands tall and proud in the middle of their garden and symbolises the ‘HappyTimes’ residents continue to have in their garden.

We are truly blessed to have such beautiful gardens across our homes and we would love for you to come and visit for yourself.
