Kingscourt Care Home are currently seeking an experienced cook to join them on a permanent basis for 40 hours per week.
King’s Court Care Home is a thirty-eight beded revamped accommodation, situated on the outskirts of the market town of Horsham.
The medium sized garden is laid to lawn with shrubs and flower borders, making it a perfect place for residents to relax around the two large table sets and wooden benches during the summer months.
King’s Court has an activity coordinator who organizes a variety of entertainment such as weekly visits from Kingdom Faith students for informal singing and a chat over tea and cake. The local Vicar and volunteers from St Mary’s Church attend King’s Court for a Church of England Service.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a cook, your main responsibilities will include: food preparation, to cook and serve both hot and cold food and to meet any dietary requirements.

•Satisfactory Policy Check and check against the PoVA list
•Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
•Good communication skills
•Ability to work on own initiative
Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
Previous management or supervisory experienced
Experience of food preparation for the relevant Service User group
