We have had an incredible response to the Wordsworth House Care Home postcard appeal. Following the plea to members of the public to send our residents postcards from their holidays, we have now received 93 of them through the post.
Residents have loved hearing from people they know, but have also had a heartwarming response from lots of new friends, from a range of destinations all over the world.
The postcards have been a great conversation starter, helping us to reminisce with residents about their favourite holiday destinations. This week residents and staff have been busy responding to all of the kind people that sent them.
