Some of the Hope House gentleman residents recently enjoyed a trip out to the ‘Rail Story’ at the Museum of Rail Travel at Ingrow and said it felt like taking a step back in time. Resident Ernie commented on the carriages and said “just look at the quality and the detail they have put into it all, isn’t it lovely – especially the blue leather seating in the smoking carriages with all the wood. It’s marvellous.” Following the visit, they paid a visit to the local chippy and enjoyed fish and chips afterwards.
