With forty-six bedrooms, Hillcrest Care Home in Norwich provides great standards of care 24 hours a day on both a residential and dementia (EMI) residential basis.
The home caters for a variety of needs from specialist care & support to help with everyday living for those who require a helping hand to retain their independence. The home also provides care on a long and short term basis.
The residents can pursue their hobbies in the communal quite lounges situated throughout the home or relax within the large and bright conservatory. Outside, the large patio seating area is a popular place during the summer months and is used for a number of activities and events.
The home employs a full time activities co-coordinator who tailors a monthly calendar of events and activities for the residents to enjoy.

We offer first class care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis at our beautiful care home in Norwich. Care is delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings.
Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the full. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.
Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for.
Residents have freedom to choose what to do and when. There is plenty going and our activities coordinator puts together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.

During these difficult times, yet again, the team at Hillcrest have excelled in keeping us informed of what is going on and how Dad is doing which is so helpful, especially as I live away. I can't thank them enough for looking after Dad but for also supporting the family. The staff are doing a great job and they always put the residents first. Without the Hillcrest team, I am not sure how we would have coped. Thank you.
My mother has been in the care of Hillcrest for the last 13 months. The care given by the staff there is excellent. My mother seems happy to be there and has a good rapport with the carers.
Although suffering from Alzheimer’s she does enjoy the contact with all the home's personnel.
My mother has been a resident at Hillcrest for many years suffering from severe dementia. I am very impressed with the care she is given by all the staff who show such patience and tolerance. The manager always has time to keep me updated on my mother's condition and she has become more of a friend than a member of the team. I would like to thank all the staff for doing a great job.
