The time of year has come when our care homes across the nation unite in the spirit of creativity, community, and a touch of spookiness. It’s the annual Company-Wide Scarecrow Competition, where our residents and team members bring their imaginations to life!
This year, the competition was fierce, with each care home pouring their hearts into crafting the most charming and eerie scarecrows imaginable. From fluffy and friendly to delightfully creepy, the scarecrows were as diverse as the communities they represent.
Our residents proved once again that age is just a number when it comes to creativity. With the help of our dedicated team members, they meticulously designed and brought to life scarecrows that captured the essence of their homes.
From the smiles at Muirton House to the laughter at Oake Meadows, the scarecrows were a reflection of the unique character of each care home. It was heartwarming to see how much fun everyone had during the creation process.
The competition was fierce, and every scarecrow had its own special charm. But there can only be one winner, and this year, the honor goes to… Avonbridge Care Home!
Their scarecrow not only captured the imagination but also tugged at our heartstrings. Congratulations to the residents and team members at Avonbridge for their exceptional creativity and dedication.
While Avonbridge Care Home takes home the trophy, the true victors of this competition are the sense of community and the spark of creativity that each care home ignited. The smiles, the laughter, and the collaborative spirit that the scarecrow competition brought were invaluable.
We’re immensely proud of every care home’s effort and thankful to the residents and team members who participated. Your creativity has warmed our hearts and brightened our days.
As we bid farewell to this year’s scarecrow competition, we’re already looking forward to next year’s artistic challenge. Until then, let’s keep the creative spirit alive and continue celebrating the unique character of our care homes.
Thank you all for making the Company-Wide Scarecrow Competition a truly special event.
