About the position

Essential to our team are individuals who are not only NMC Registered Nurses but also possess excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for working with our residents. We value teamwork, previous experience, and any supervisory capabilities you may bring.

As part of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained, leading by example and providing effective supervision to fellow staff members. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Deputy Care Home Manager or in a nursing or clinical lead role caring for older persons or for those with learning differences. This multifaceted position encompasses both supernumerary and direct care duties, offering a rewarding blend of managerial responsibilities and hands-on caregiving.

  • Registered Nurse with NMC accreditation
  • Proficient in effective communication across all levels
  • Demonstrates a sincere interest in working with our specific client group
  • Successfully passed POVA List screening (where applicable)
  • Thrives as a collaborative team player
  • Acting as Manager in any absence
  • Providing support and guidance to staff members
  • Facilitating effective communication with professionals and relatives
  • Handling enquiries and resolving queries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Conducting audits of home files to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
