We spent day five of Staff Recognition Week making sure our teams got that weekend feeling with ‘Fabulous Friday’!
Across our Larchwood Care homes, the surprises continued with things like free takeaway coffees and doughnuts to start the day. While the stakes were raised in our staff competitions and prize draws with high street gift cards up for grabs.
For a bit of Friday fun, we also asked our teams to get creative and design a colourful facemask to win a prize.
At Hope House near Accrington, the home’s residents were very impressed with the team’s colourful face mask designs. It was a tough decision for the judges, but well done to Rachel, Becky and Jeanette!
In Hamilton, there were winners galore at Avonbridge with the home’s colourful face mask contest, guess the baby competition and the team draw for a £50 gift card all happening on the same day.
Broomfield Court resident Douglas did his best Dermot O’Leary impression, creating a lot of suspense in the team draw to win a £50 high street voucher! After quite the build-up, Christine was announced as the lucky winner.
Meanwhile, at Highfield near Canterbury, there were pizzas, pyjamas, prizes and some surprises from residents’ relatives to round off the week.
