The Staff Recognition Week surprises continued for our Larchwood Care teams over the weekend with some foodie delights!
Keen to ensure those giving up their weekends to care for the people we support got a flavour of SRW22, ‘Saturday Takeaway’ and ‘Stilton Sunday’ marked the final days of our week-long celebration.
Team members on shift on Saturday enjoyed a range of delicious takeaway food such as pizzas, fish and chips, or Chinese cuisine.
While on Sunday, tasty cheeseboards were available for staff to enjoy on their breaks.
A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in organising the Staff Recognition Week activities at each Larchwood Care home this year. It has been wonderful to see our teams enjoying themselves and our residents joining in too! It has also been lovely to see so many relatives and supporters of our homes taking part by sharing heartwarming comments and messages of support.

At Cams Ridge in Fareham, the team enjoyed a selection of home-baked treats from the home’s kitchen including some beautiful hand-finished doughnuts. The Cams Ridge ‘design a face mask’ competition took a comical turn thanks to a resident’s very clever Y-front design!
